Aztec Oils plan major development of their Bolsover Site. Work has started this week on a brand new 11,000 sq ft warehouse at Aztec’s Bolsover site which is the first part of a £1.2 million investment planned over the next three years.
Aztec Oils has continued to buck the trend in the UK lubricant industry, recording double digit percentage growth over the last few years, investing heavily in plant and people and this is set to continue by centralising manufacturing facilities on one site. By bearing down on costs, the management feel confident in their ability to continue to grow through the very uncertain economic conditions that face the UK in the coming years.
The company’s manufacturing site in Tipton, West Midlands, will be closed by early 2019 with the loss of 15 jobs, some of which, it is hoped, will transfer to Bolsover where 25 new jobs will be created.
The company is pursuing new export markets and developing numerous speciality product lines to further enhance the range of lubricants offered to the market.
The company also continues to invest heavily in the latest laboratory equipment to verify that all products manufactured meet the highest level of compliance.
