BSRIA is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Blake as its new Principal Consultant – Facilities Management in its Sustainable Construction group.
The appointment of Nick shows BSRIA’s commitment to offering a strategic FM consultancy through the whole lifecycle of building property management and maintenance adding commercial awareness to best practice. Offering FM guidance from both client and contractor perspective.
Most recently, Nick headed up the engineering department managing all aspects of the buildings’ maintenance for three private hospitals including the site and ‘bank’ personnel. Peter Tse, Business Manager, Sustainable Construction Group, BSRIA, said:
“Nick brings with him a rare mix of facilities management and construction experience. We see the appointment of Nick as an essential step in our continued development of our FM service offering, supporting both building owners and operators tackling their unique challenges.”
“I’m looking forward to working with BSRIA’s existing clients and to building new relationships for BSRIA across the built environment industry. Of course, I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to help the construction industry around the world – not only make buildings better places for people – but also make the whole world a happier place.
BSRIA is a great organisation and I’m keen to bring my extensive commercial business experience to complement and support the work of technical experts within the department. I am honoured to be surrounded by so much knowledge and experience.”
