The International Liquid Terminals Association’s (ILTA) President Melinda Whitney is stepping down after two years at the helm and 14 years at the association.
Melinda will leave on September 1 and will be replaced by Interim President, E. David Doane.
Melinda joined ILTA in 2003 and was appointed President in 2014. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jack McCrossin said: “Melinda’s contributions to ILTA over the last 14 years, particularly as President, have positioned ILTA as the pre-eminent advocate and key resource for the liquid terminal industry. Our members have been well served through her stewardship.
David served as President of ILTA from 2002 until his retirement in 2013. Jack said: “Having David return to ILTA as Interim President and assist the Board in its executive search and transition efforts will ensure a smooth and efficient process given his previous tenure and industry knowledge. The Board is delighted to welcome David back for this effort.”
