EOGB Appoints Stephen O’Neill As New Technical Specifications Engineer
Burner and heating component specialist EOGB, has strengthened its technical team by appointing former Newcastle Falcons player Stephen O’Neill to the position of Technical Specifications Engineer.
Stephen, retired from rugby in 2001 due to injury and re-trained as a gas fitter. He is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Commercial Combustion Engineering. In his new role with EOGB, he will be responsible for burner commissioning, servicing and specifying for all types of commercial, industrial and processing applications.
Commenting on his appointment, Stephen said, “I’m excited about starting my role at EOGB who, for me, stand out not just for their technical capabilities and product range but for the highly personalised and efficient service that is at the centre of everything they do.”

Stephen played for the Newcastle Falcons in the team that won the premiership title in 1998. During his sporting career he also played for Gateshead Thunder, the Irish Exiles and the Ireland Wolfhounds.
