Heating Oil Tank Specialist Carbery Launches New Fuel King Bunded Diesel Tank
Heating oil, diesel and water storage tank specialist Carbery Plastics Limited has unveiled the company’s all-new 2500FKP/S Fuel King – the latest addition to the West Cork manufacturer’s range of bunded diesel storage and dispensing tanks.
The 2,500 litres (550 gallons) Fuel King model was officially launched at last month’s Irish National Ploughing Championships and is now available from selected Carbery resellers across Ireland. Featuring a space-saving, horizontal design, the new Fuel King builds upon the success of Carbery’s existing 2500FPP/S Vertical Fuel Point and complements the company’s 1,350 litres and 6,000 litres capacity Fuel Point models.
Purpose designed for the storage and dispensing of diesel fuel, the latest addition to Carbery’s range has been designed to exceed the most demanding Irish, British and European fuel storage requirements. Set to appeal to farmers, agricultural contractors, hauliers and commercial operators alike, the Fuel King combines the convenience of forecourt style refuelling with the assurance and continuity of supply that only on-site storage can provide.
Senior Sales Executive Pio Ronan says, “The Fuel King is the result of an intensive product development exercise, which examined closely how diesel is used and stored in a variety of settings. The result is a product, which redefines customer expectations, through close attention to design and the provision of a rich feature set.
“For instance, noting the increasing physical size of modern plant and machinery, the Fuel King Premium benefits from the addition of a retractable delivery hose. Similarly, the 10 micron ‘Hydrosorb’ integrated particulate and water filter – supplied as standard on 2500FKP models and an extra-cost option on 2500FKS models – is essential when dispensing to modern vehicles, plant and machinery incorporating common rail diesel engines. And we’ve also closely analysed those features which have already helped distinguish our market-leading Fuel Point range. So all Fuel King Premium models continue to benefit from internal lighting, for safer, cleaner refuelling during the hours of darkness, and both Premium and Standard models incorporate a large, lockable entry door, creating a product which is easier to use and to maintain.”
The 2500 Fuel King is now available from Carbery resellers in the Republic of Ireland and will shortly become available to UK customers as well.
