Fuel distributor Total Butler is extending the availability of its Total Glowmax Heating Oil to customers in Northern and South Eastern England, following a limited release of the fuel in 2008.
Produced by Total, Glowmax is a kerosene based product which is suitable for domestic oil fired heating and cooking installations. Total claim that Glowmax can improve the reliability of oil fired systems, as the product affords greater protection to oil installations, than traditional heating fuels.
In particular, Glowmax is claimed to reduce soot formation and charring, whilst copper fuel lines benefit from greater protection against corrosion. The company claims that users may experience enhanced system performance, greater combustion efficiency and reduced maintenance call outs and charges.
The fuel has already been tried, tested and approved by Aga.

With the weather now noticeably on the turn, Total Butler is expecting increased demand for Glowmax and has issued these practical tips as a reminder to homeowners and householders to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of fuel.
1. Try and plan your order so as not to leave it to the last minute
2. Be sure to advise of any special delivery requirements so the correct size tanker is sent to you
3. Ensure that driveways are kept clear for easy access to the fuel tank
4. Ensure your pets are kept safely inside the house while the delivery is taking place
